LiDAR:net Knowledge Exchange Workshop on Terrestrial Laser Scanning
This free workshop is an activity of the LiDAR:net (Light Detection And Ranging knowledge exchange network) project which is one element of the NERC-funded Earth Observation Technology Cluster. The workshop aims to bring together a network/ community of practice comprising parties drawn from academia, industry and NERC.
Provisional Programme
Monday 2nd April, starting 10.30am: Invited speakers will review the state-of-the-art in terrestrial laser scanning; a poster and demonstration session will encourage interaction between application scientists, instrument developers and manufacturers; an interactive group-based activity will review priorities for research and applications; a round-table will map future activities.
Tuesday 3rd April, starting 9.30am: Participants are invited to join a demonstration activity facilitated by other workshop participants.
Submit an abstract
A dedicated poster and demonstration session on applications of TLS will form the key part of the workshop. You are encouraged to submit a poster abstract by 30 January 2012. Abstracts should be limited to 200 words and may include one figure. They should be submitted by email to eotechcluster@nottingham.ac.uk. Successful authors will be informed by 28 February 2012.
